How It Works

A Clear Path from Application to Decision

Understand what happens after you apply, what an initial response means, and which terms deserve scrutiny before you accept an offer.

A Deliberate Process

From objective to decision

The process is designed to clarify your needs and the available terms. An application is not an approval, and you should review final documents before accepting any financing.

  1. 01

Tell us what the capital should accomplish

Complete the online application or call our team. Identify the amount you are seeking, its intended use, and the timing of the expense. A concise purpose is more useful than a generic request for the largest possible amount.

  2. 02

    Provide a coherent financial picture

Share the requested business, ownership, and bank information. Applying involves a soft credit inquiry, which does not affect your credit score; a funding partner may perform additional verification, which can include a hard inquiry, before final approval. Additional financial documents may be needed depending on the product and request. Respond to discrepancies or missing items so the review is based on accurate records.

  3. 03

    Receive an initial response

Most applications receive an initial response within one hour. That response may include questions, a request for documents, or potential options; it is not a commitment to fund.

  4. 04

    Compare the complete offer

Review the net proceeds, total repayment or purchased amount, fees, payment frequency, collateral, guaranties, and early-payment provisions. Ask how the payment would affect cash flow during a slower period.

  5. 05

    Complete final review and closing

If you choose to proceed, complete the funder’s final underwriting and document process. Depending on the type and size of financing, full approval and funding can occur within 1–2 weeks. Timing is not guaranteed.

Three questions to answer before signing

What exactly will I receive?

Confirm the gross amount, subtract every fee deducted at closing, and identify any funds paid directly to a vendor or existing creditor.

What exactly will I pay?

Use the agreement to determine the full dollar obligation and payment schedule. Distinguish fixed costs from interest that may decline as principal is repaid.

What if revenue disappoints?

Model a slower-sales scenario. Review default, reconciliation, guaranty, and collateral provisions rather than assuming the funder will adjust payments.

Prepare before you apply

A complete, internally consistent application makes the review easier to navigate. See the documents and business details commonly requested.
