A winter storm hit the Northeast on Tuesday.
The Albany, New York, region is under a blizzard warning until Wednesday at 4 a.m. Between 18 to 24 inches of snow is predicted for the region. Travel conditions are considered extremely dangerous, according to the National Weather Service.
Many of the region’s largest employers closed their offices for the day, including the two largest insurers.
