Caught up in a lawsuit filed by Google’s Waymo against Uber, the head of Uber’s self-driving vehicles group is stepping away from some of his duties.

According to an email obtained by Business Insider, Anthony Levandowski said he will no longer do work related to LiDAR, the lasers used to help self-driving vehicles navigate through the environment around them.
