Southwest Airlines will start flying its Boeing 737 MAX routes Oct. 1, and the Dallas-based carrier has selected its original Texas triangle of cities for the inaugural route.

Southwest’s (NYSE: LUV) inaugural flight will leave Dallas Love Field at 7 a.m. for Houston Hobby, the airline announced Thursday. It will then continue to San Antonio before returning to Dallas. The routing is similar to Southwest’s first flight in 1971, except the airline flew to Houston Intercontinental instead of Hobby.
