The Greater Memphis Chamber is stumping for Gov. Bill Haslam’s IMPROVE Act, which will cut sales tax on groceries but raise the tax on gasoline and diesel fuel.

Phil Trenary, president and CEO of the Greater Memphis Chamber, sent an email titled “Need Your Help Today” this morning (April 18) at 6 a.m.

With the IMPROVE Act scheduled for a final vote in the Tennessee General Assembly, Wednesday, April 19, Trenary urged chamber email subscribers to personally contact members of the Shelby County delegation.
