Citizens Against Rail Expansion in Florida on March 28 vowed to keep pushing for the proposed Florida High Speed Passenger Rail Safety Act, despite the fact that House Bill 269 was pulled from the state House Transportation and Infrastructure Subcommittee yesterday.

The proposed Florida House bill would give local governments and the state additional authority to regulate Brightline, which is owned by Coral Gables-based parent company All Aboard Florida.
