Spirit Airlines Inc. more than halved its complaints in fiscal 2016, according to its latest earnings report.

The Florida-based company (Nasdaq: SAVE) on Tuesday said it started the year with a complaint ratio of 11 for every 100,000 customers. By year end, the company had under four complaints per 100,000 customers, or about 64 percent fewer complaints. The company had 5.4 million flight segments, or stops per passenger, in fiscal 2016.
