A disability access lawsuit against an Austin ridesharing company may be close to resolution, according to court filings.

Ride Fare LLC, the company that operates the Fare ridesharing service, was sued in 2016 by the Texas Federation for the Blind. The lawsuit alleged violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act because Fare’s smartphone app did not have sufficient features for a blind customer to use the app.
