Plans for a seven-mile toll bridge spanning the Currituck Sound have been revived, to the chagrin of some homeowners along the Outer Banks.

A group of residents have sent a letter to Secretary of Transportation Jim Trogdon, asking N.C. Department of Transportation to reconsider plans for a two-lane bridge connecting the Currituck County mainland to the Outer Banks.
