Ride-hailing giant Uber voluntarily shared its financial details amid a string of scandals embroiling the company, and it says its revenue was $6.5 billion in 2016.

According to information shared with Bloomberg and confirmed by an Uber spokeswoman, the company “more than doubled gross bookings in 2016 to $20 billion.”
