New plan: Taxis, Uber, Lyft to pay per-trip fee at Wichita airport

A new policy has been recommended for all “for-hire” transportation operators at Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport.

According to a Wichita Eagle story, the Commercial Ground Transportation Fee Policy requires operations, except Uber and Lyft, to pay an initial fee of $150 for a two-year permit to use the commercial transportation lanes outside the airport’s terminal.
