The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority announced on Tuesday that it picked a former General Electric Co. executive to lead the transit agency starting next month.
Luis Manuel Ramírez, who previously served as CEO at GE Energy Industrial Solutions, will lead the MBTA. Ramírez, a 50-year-old Cuban-American from Miami, is currently the founder and CEO of TodoModo Group, a consulting firm that helps CEOs and private equity firms, according to his LinkedIn profile.
