FedEx Corp. and United Parcel Service Inc. have joined forces to try to gain the attention of Congress and the Trump administration.
David Abney, chairman and CEO of Atlanta-based UPS, and Fred Smith, founder, chairman and CEO of Memphis-based FedEx, authored an op-ed in the Aug. 14 issue of The Wall Street Journal called “Business Rivals Agree on Policy.”
The piece called for a simplification of taxes, an investment in infrastructure and an expansion of international fair trade.
