A series of road closures hit next week as 20/59 road work advances.
The central business district portion of the bridge replacement project enters phase three Monday, Aug. 14, when the 11th Avenue North exit ramp from I-59/20 southbound will close permanently.
The Alabama Department of Transportation will have message boards and traffic controls in place to redirect traffic to the Carraway Boulevard exit to 6th Avenue North.
