The City of San Francisco has debuted a new $604 million plan to remake Market Street, with a proposal that would ban private cars and add bikes lanes while totally remaking the sidewalks throughout.
Cars driven by Lyft or Uber drivers would be banned between the Embarcadero and 10th Street East, the San Francisco Chronicle reports, as city planners attempt to ease congestion on one of S.F.’s busiest thoroughfares.
