Longshoremens’ union says early votes show labor contract extension for Seattle, Tacoma ports will pass

The union says a three-year extension of the pact will cover 20,000 workers on the West Coast, preventing the possibility of a slowdown like the one that crippled ports, trade and commerce activity in 2014.
