Wolf, who recently served as vice chair elect of the HIMSS Board of Directors, comes to the new role from the Chartis Group, where he was director of information and digital health strategy, focusing on integrated care models, product development, marketing, among other health IT areas. Before that, he was COO of the Permanente Federation, where he worked on information technology strategies.
Wolf will start in September, bringing Lieber’s 17-year tenure to an end. Previously, Lieber was the vice president of personal membership groups for the American Hospital Association and, earlier, CEO of the Emergency Nurses Association.
