Atlanta’s proposed annexation of Emory University is allowing MARTA’s planned Clifton Corridor rail line to jump ahead of rail projects already inside the city, state Sen. Vincent Fort said Monday.
Atlanta voters overwhelmingly approved a referendum last fall raising the city’s sales tax by a half penny to fund bus and rail system improvements.
