Pittsburgh International Airport traffic increased by 6 percent from last year, and 6.6 percent for the month, this past June.

All told, 832,781 people passed through the airport in June, a month that also saw the launch in Pittsburgh of low cost Icelandic carrier Wow Air. German airline Condor likewise launched service to Frankfurt during the month, while in late May, Delta restarted nonstop service to Paris.
