Shipping logistics startup Shyp is suspending its operations in Chicago, Los Angeles and New York as it focuses in on achieving profitability on its home turf, the CEO wrote in a blog post Thursday.
The San Francisco-based company will cut employees at its headquarters as part of the changes, Shyp CEO Kevin Gibbon wrote.
“This decision was not made lightly,” he said. “It impacts our employees, customers, and partners, and I know it will upset, disappoint, and inconvenience many of you.”
