A day after a conservation group made a $6.6 million offer on airport-owned land, the Raleigh-Durham International Airport Authority was celebrating growth.
The airport reported its 40th consecutive month of year-over-year traffic increases, the “best single month in our 74-year history,” RDU CEO Mike Landguth told the board Thursday.
RDU saw 547,905 departing passengers in the month, a 5.6 percent increase from the same time period last year.
