Denver-based Frontier Airlines Inc. announced Tuesday plans to double the number of direct flights it provides out of the Texas capital, including nonstop flights to two new destinations for Austinites.
The low-cost airline will add eight cities out of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport to its offerings, including new destinations Columbus, Ohio, and Ontario, Calif., a suburb east of Los Angeles.
Austinites can immediately purchase tickets to fly to New Orleans, Ontario, Phoenix and Raleigh/Durham.…
