Christopher Wedor, the former director of audits at the Colorado Department of Transportation, has been formally charged with several felonies, Denver District Attorney Beth McCann announced Thursday.

The charges were filed July 11.

Wedor, 34, is accused of stealing more than $20,000 dollars from CDOT between May and December 2016 by charging personal items to his state-issued credit card and to the credit cards of three subordinates. Wedor allegedly purchased gift cards, electronics, software…
