The chief executive of Qatar Airways today apologized “unreservedly” for poking fun at the age of flight attendants on American air carriers.
Qatar CEO Akbar Al Baker’s apology came a day after Fort Worth-based American Airlines’ (Nasdaq: AAL) management, pilots and flight attendants lambasted previous remarks in which the CEO said passengers on American carriers’ flights “are always being served by grandmothers.”
