The summer travel season continues to exceed expectations at the world’s busiest airport.
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport reported Thursday that Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers screened 92,421 departing passengers last Friday. That broke a single-day record at Hartsfield-Jackson for the third time this year.
Even with the upsurge in passengers on June 30, airport officials said the TSA kept waiting times below 30 minutes throughout the day.
