PureHD is pleased to announce the deployment of the DISH Network Interactive Platform Evolve, powered by AndroidTV. PureHD, a leading provider of Free-to-Guest (FTG) services in the hospitality marketplace, has installed the product in several sites in New York, Dallas, Washington DC, and Denver area. PureHD has several more installations scheduled in Boston, Baltimore, Minneapolis, and San Francisco.
The new Evolve AndroidTV platform is the first Google Certified platform in a guest room. It consists of a robust LG Set-Top-Box running AndroidTV software. Certification by Google is critical because it allows guests to access all of their Google Services such as the Google Play Store, Google Movies & TV, Google Games, and Google Music. This enables access to over 50,000 movies-on-demand, thousands of TV series, and millions of songs.
In addition, AndroidTV natively has Chromecast Built-in. PureHD can deliver the power of casting through either an Apple or Google Phone, without the use of a residential grade ChromeStick and its security challenges. AndroidTV enables casting in a secure set-top-box platform and casting can be constantly upgraded with new features as new AndroidTV software is released.
The PureHD Evolve platform has several hotel industry firsts.
