Honolulu’s rail project is losing another top executive after Brennon Morioka handed in his resignation earlier this month.

Morioka will leave his position as the deputy executive director of the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation this week, according to a Honolulu Star-Advertiser report.

Morioka, who has been with HART for more than four years, told the newspaper that he accepted a job at Hawaiian Electric Co. He will reportedly help the utility in its efforts to put more electric vehicles…
