Homewood is another step closer to finding ways to improve traffic flow.
Its city council this week gave approval for spending $100,000 on a traffic study of its major intersections.
According to the Homewood Star, a consultant, which has not yet been selected, will study about eight intersections and provide options for ways to promote a better flow of travelers. The council and residents will be able to select the intersections based on which are most problematic.
