If you think road construction is bad this summer, wait until August, when a four-year I-35W project in South Minneapolis kicks off.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation will add more ramps, and a transit station, to the Lake Street interchange, reports the Southwest Journal. Crews also will resurface and reconstruct bridges one-by-one between downtown and 43rd Street, the sound end of the project.
