The Bay Area Rapid Transit Police department has made its crime data public in an effort to fight an increase in crime on the service.
Robberies at BART stations are up 45 percent compared to last year, according to the agency. The Coliseum Station saw highest crime with 13 robberies, and Bay Fair recording nine robberies. That averages 1.7 robberies per million trips taken last year.
