Kansas City Councilwoman Teresa Loar’s recent comments regarding the single-terminal Kansas City International Airport modernization effort apparently have attracted a challenger for her seat.
Patrick “Duke” Dujakovich, president of the Greater Kansas City AFL-CIO, said in a written statement Thursday that he intends to run for the 2nd District At-Large seat that Loar was elected to fill until 2019.
