Both directions of Interstate 25 will be closed for several hours after a tanker crashed and caught fire near the Denver Tech Center on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Colorado Department of Transportation, the highway is closed between Orchard Road and Belleview Avenue.
CDOT said it is working with emergency crews to repair the pavement caused by the fire. Heat from the fire has caused damage mainly to the pavement and median barrier.
