President Donald Trump requested $108 million to deepen harbors in Savannah, Ga., and Boston as part of his 2018 budget, according to WABE.

Trump wants to allocate $50 million to Savannah, but it’s only half of what is needed to keep the project on schedule. In April, the Army Corps of Engineers said the deepening would cost $973 million, 38 percent more than the $703 million it estimated it would cost in 2014.
