Florida Department of Transportation officials are launching the first in an ongoing public outreach campaign after they hit the breaks on the controversial Tampa Bay Express (TBX) project last December.
The Tampa Bay Next initiative kicks off for the first time Wednesday evening in a meeting with Tampa Bay area residents to begin identifying ways to create regional transportation priorities that combine road and highway improvements with multi-modal transit.
