Kellogg Co. plans to shut down its snack distribution operation at 1801 N. Corrington Ave. in Kansas City, laying off 185 people.
The operation will be gradually shut down from July 8 to Aug. 4. It’s part of a nationwide program called “Project K,” which is a shift in the distribution method for Kellogg’s Snacks division from direct store delivery to warehouse delivery.
