With an $80 million terminal modernization completed, the leader of John Glenn Columbus International Airport is deferring to someone else for the next challenge.

Elaine Roberts, serving as CEO of the Columbus Regional Airport Authority for more than 14 years, will hand over the reins to a to-be-determined successor later this year.

Occupying much of her successor’s time will be planning for a new terminal building, possibly to open as soon as 2030 to meet growth projections.
