The first project to be funded with money from the 2016 mobility bond will be completed in a few weeks, according to a notice from the city of Austin.
Austin voters approved in November a bond referendum that provided $720 million to spend on transportation infrastructure focused on some of the city’s most-traveled roads. It included $37.5 million in spending on sidewalk infrastructure and $27.5 million on the Safe Routes to School initiative.
