For the first time in more than half a century, the Allston-Brighton neighborhood has access to commuter rail service.
Public officials including Gov. Charlie Baker, Lt. Gov. Karyn Polito and MassDOT CEO Stephanie Pollack were in the neighborhood Wednesday morning to cut the ribbon on the Boston Landing Commuter Rail station. The service starts Monday, May 22.
