A MetroLink train carrying 20 passengers was damaged by gunfire Tuesday night, KSDK reports.
St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to the Fairview Heights MetroLink station, at 9200 St. Clair Ave., around 10:40 p.m., according to the TV station.
Police found that the train had eight bullet holes on its right side, with damage to the windows and metal siding, according to KSDK, and no one was injured.
