Boston-based Zagster is establishing operations in Wichita.

The company, which provides private and public-private bike-sharing systems across the U.S., is providing 100 cruiser bikes and will operate 19 bike stations in the downtown area. Those include the city’s pop-up park near Douglas and Main and the downtown branch of the Greater Wichita YMCA and near Douglas and Water, according to Zagster’s website.

Zagster also is adding a team of local bike mechanics to keep the fleet operational.
