United Airlines CEO Oscar Munoz took his contrition crusade to Washington, D.C., Tuesday.
Munoz and United President Scott Kirby appeared before the U.S. House of Representatives’ Transportation & Infrastructure Committee to explain, among other things, how David Dao came to be dragged off United Express Flight 3411 on April 9 to make room for four Republic Airline crew members who needed to get to Louisville, Kentucky, to operate a United Express regional flight the next day.
