The third time wasn’t the charm for demolition of the former Jeremiah Morrow Bridge on Sunday, WCPO reports.

An attempted implosion of remaining trusses at the site just before 7 a.m. wasn’t successful in detaching the south end of the span. Now, the remainder of the bridge will have to be taken down using a crane piece by piece rather than in one blast.
