Driven in large part by new international routes and the status of the East Bay as a business and tourism destination, Oakland International Airport has seen another month of near-record ridership.
According to the airport 1,008,886 passengers took a flight for the month of March representing a 4.8 percent increase from last year and the first time in a decade that ridership breached 1 million for the month.
