Airfare at Charlotte Douglas International Airport fell to its lowest point in six years to end last year, according to new federal transportation data.
Dropping 6% from the previous year, domestic airfare at CLT averaged about $398 in the fourth quarter of 2016. That’s about 3.2% lower than the previous quarter, according to data released this week by the U.S. Bureau of Transportation Statistics.
