Ride-hailing service Uber has been sued by a Lyft driver for using used software to track the presence of its rival and keep tabs on drivers who drove for both companies.
The Information first reported that Uber used the program, dubbed Hell, to gain and maintain a significant advantage over rival Lyft. Citing sources close to the matter, it said only CEO Travis Kalanick and handful of top execs knew about the program.
