Piedmont Road in the area of the Interstate 85 bridge collapse will be closed for 24 hours starting at 9 a.m. Tuesday, the Georgia Department of Transportation announced Monday.
Workers will be setting beams for the replacement bridge, a key step in reopening the highway by the stated goal of June 15.
