The country music star whose hit songs include “Drunk on a Plane” has been nominated to the board that oversees Nashville International Airport.
The Tennessean reports that Mayor Megan Barry has nominated Dierks Bentley to the Metro Nashville Airport Authority’s board. If approved by the Metro Council, Bentley would assume a seat vacated by another entertainment industry professional, Creative Artists Agency’s Rod Essig.
