The city of Cincinnati has received multiple requests for development at Lunken Airport, WVXU reports.

Airport manager Fred Anderton said the requests have come after a decade of relative quiet on that front and could be held up by a lack of land. He’s working on a plan to make the projects possible.

Anderton said one solution could be to demolish an underused runway that doesn’t meet Federal Aviation Administration design standards, but that wouldn’t be feasible for two to three years.
