A new business has started work at Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport, with Emerald City Cargo LLC launching operations at 1935 Air Cargo Road earlier this month.
The company is taking over freight processing work for the cargo division of Southwest Airlines, a spokesperson for the carrier confirms.
That work was previously performed by Leadfoot Express, who could not be reached for comment on the move.
