A fire official says multiple people have been shot at an elementary school in San Bernardino.
San Bernardino County fire spokesman Eric Sherwin says the shooting happened Monday morning at the North Park School in San Bernardino.
San Bernardino County Sheriff Jarrod Burguan tweeted that two adults were killed in what they believe to be a murder suicide. He said, however, that “there’s no further threat.”
Earlier, Monica Garcia, communications director of the school district, told KNBC that two students and a teacher were shot.
The threat has been neutralized, according to a Facebook post from the San Bernardino City Unified School District.
The rest of the North Park student body is being transported to Cajon High School by bus, Garcia said. Parents will be able to pick up their children, provided they bring identification.
